Basic Rummy Rules
Rummy involves forming sequences and sets from 13 cards dealt to each player. The objective is to arrange all cards into valid pure sequences and sets before declaring a win. Players take turns drawing and discarding cards drawn from the deck or discard pile.
The game can be played with 2 to 6 participants, with variations including points-based pooling or deals.
Understanding the difference between pure and impure sequences, as well as strategic discarding, is crucial to mastering the game.
